Landlord trying to kick you out?!

We see many landlords trying to unfairly evict expats, especially with new laws in place. They often want to end rental contracts to move back in or sell the property. Don’t let this happen to you! You likely have more protection than you realize.

Fight unlawful Eviction!

When facing potential eviction, it’s normal to feel (very) stressed. We have helped many of expats fight unlawful eviction and keep their homes. With the current housing crisis, it’s more important than ever to get legal support when your landlord tries to kick you out of your home. Here are some of the examples landlords often try to use in forcing expats out:

  • I need to sell the property, so you need to move out
  • My daughter needs a house, so I’m terminating your lease
  • You had fixed rental agreements, so by the end of the last contract you need to evict
  • This is not working for me, so I need you out in one month

Because it’s your home we’re talking about, we understand how much is at stake for you. That’s why we provide comprehensive legal support tailored to expats who face possible eviction from their homes. We can often fight eviction successfully, but even if that’s not possible we can often get you much more time (months), and even a high reimbursement for moving (typically EUR 7,000-15,000).

If necessary, we’ll also take legal action to ensure that you get the solution you deserve

4 Easy Steps to fight eviction

01. Fill out our contact form

We’re here to help! Just fill out the contact form below and explain your situation. We’ll get back to you shortly with our thoughts and next steps.

02. Legal advice

Once we have a better understanding of your case, we’ll give you our honest opinion on what you can do next.

03. Formal letter to dispute eviction

It looks like your case is worth fighting. We’ll draft a formal letter and send it to your landlord or real estate agent. This usually gets their attention and starts discussions about a solution. We’ll point the landlord on the impossibility of their termination. Depending on what you want, we’ll fight eviction, or negotiate for more time and/or compensation. We’ll also advise you about possible negotiations to resolve the issue without the need of court.

04. Already wrapping up

In most cases, things get sorted pretty quickly. The majority of our cases are resolved in a matter of weeks, or even days. Only in some cases (where a landlord refuses to listen) we’ll end up in court. Don’t worry though, we have your back and most of our clients believe court was actually fun once they step out of the courtroom again (since it’s the landlord that will be doing the sweating).

What our customers say about us:

Don’t lose your Home!

Eviction cases can become complex and technical. We have to protect against unlawful claims, but be very careful on what we say and how we say it. We have seen many cases where people contacted us too late, and already (unknowingly) hurt their cases badly (and even lost their homes). Don’t let that happen to you.

Limited availability

Due to the high demand for our services, we can only take a limited number of new cases. If you’re facing a rental dispute, don’t wait – contact us today to ensure your rights are protected and you get the solution you deserve.
